My Class Logs 26/06/08: Today in class we have started doing work on programming starting with gamemaker.
I have used the program before but have noticed that my knowledge of the program was not nearly
as good as I had hoped. Now to catch up!
25/7/08: Today I was doing game 2 and beginnning game 3 i did exactly stick to everything the tutorials said
and i tend to add in little things trying to make them better. Most of the times i added things in they worked rather well
but then there are some that just ruin all the work and i have had to start the game over.
I do not yet think that i am confident enough with gamemaker to move onto VB .net
29/7/08: Today I spent the session going throught the pink booklet and I started learning how to make sprites change directions and am learning how to make Health bars
31/7/08: Today I injured my right shoulder at lunch which made it rather difficult to both move and do work using the mouse and keyboard. Even thought I hurt my shoulder i was able to edit the maze game I made. I made a single sprite and was able to animate it to make it look like it was actually walking however it only walked in one direction. I know how to fix this problem its just well TIME CONSUMING!?!?!?! Ah well leaves me with something to do next session!
5/8/08: Today I started to redo all the games in the "pink booklet" so I can get all the skills into my head in start to prepare for the sac on thursday. I think I need to prepare alot more to be able to do well in this sac but with a little effort I reckon I can get a decent mark
